Some questions about forms

We thought of calling this section "Frequently Asked Questions" but we thought we ought to be accurate. It's a collection of things people have asked us about from time to time. If your question isn't answered, please email Caroline. She'll reply as soon as she can.

Newest question: How can I improve a complex form?

"The humble form: it may seem boring, but most of your website's value passes through forms. Follow Jarrett & Gaffney's guidelines, and you'll probably double your online profits." - Jakob Nielsen, Principal, Nielsen Norman Group

Nice post. I found this blog with quick tips to improve your web form conversionhttp://blog.caspio.com/webforms/how-to-create-a-web-form-that-converts/

Hi Marcus

Thanks for the suggestions - I have changed the links to a more sensible blue underline.

I would love to have an email notification facility. I'll put that on the To Do List.

Cheers

Caroline

It wasn't me who commented before but your link colouring is indeed strange - not only is the hyperlink colour rather light (I haven't checked it against WCAG 2.0 colour contrast requirements but please do so), the colour is also far too similar to your headings which are NOT hyperlinks (e.g. About the book), which is potentially confusing.

Also, your comment facility needs an email notification feature, as I'll never know whether you reply to this comment without coming back to this page to see, which is surely not how things should work in the second decade of the 21st century!
